Pike Place Market

A mouthwatering display of fresh fruits and vegetables packs the stalls at Pike Place Market.

An impressive array of fresh seafood is an important specialty of the market.  The "Fish Chuckers" are one of the market's most infamous attractions.  Note the flying fish in the upper right corner of the photo.

Fresh flowers add to the cheerful, vivacious atmosphere that makes the market one of the most popular sites in downtown Seattle.

A viscous iguana guards the beans! A good humor and excitement for life permeates the market, making it a pleasure to visit.

The market carries some unusual foods, like fiddleneck ferns ( Gloria says they taste like Asparagus ) and morrel mushrooms.
